Experience a therapeutic yoga class led by Certified Yoga Therapist Renee Zambo. Your body will be treated to a gentle and restorative yoga class suited for all; beginners and those healing from an injury or chronic condition are welcome. We will practice breathing techniques for optimal health and for anxiety management. Together, we will learn and experience how yogic techniques can help us and our clients become better self-regulators.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about yoga therapy and network with other mental health professionals if they choose. (There will be NO forced introductions or “icebreakers.”) As specialists & caretakers of the mental/emotional wellbeing of others, it is extremely important that we consistently nourish ourselves. In this workshop, allow yourself to participate in self-care techniques while also acquiring knowledge to share with your clients.
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. There is a changing room inside the studio.
Arrival 10-15 minutes early is preferred.
