Certified Yoga Teacher 500 hours - CYT 500
Catherine began her yoga journey in 2010. She was drawn to the power and flow of Ashtanga yoga and has since branched out to other styles. She has developed an interest in Thai massage, studied therapeutics with Gabriel Halpern and adjustments with Rich Logan. She has both a 200 hr and an advanced 500 hr yoga teaching certification through Moksha Yoga Center. Her classes combine vinyasa flow with held poses focusing on alignment and breath work. She strives for her students to cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance in both body and mind.
"The purpose of yoga is awareness, not perfect poses, beliefs, or any kind of attainment. Awareness from moment to moment requires great strength, flexibility, and balance. A good yoga practice develops exactly these characteristics.
